Our goal is to spread awareness about the game of Kubb and to create long lasting friendships between people across the state and the nation. What is Kubb?

Kubb (pronounced koob) is an outdoor game with mysterious origins, it is believed to have been created by the Vikings long ago. The modern game originated in Gotland, Sweden in the early 1900′s but didn’t become popular until the 1990′s. Kubb has slowly made its way from back yards and parks in Europe to the United States.  Clubs and tournaments have sprung up all over, and Kubb is establishing itself as the fastest growing sport in the nation. It is a great game to play with family and friends at a barbecue or party, or at the park. It can be played on any flat surface, including grass, sand, concrete, and even snow!
